Updating MacBook computers is a pretty easy thing to do. Our district-issued laptops require permission from Technology Services to update. They are in charge of releasing the updates as Apple pushes them out. Currently, we are unable to update our MacBooks to Apple's newest operating system, Catalina, because TEA is not up to date with the online testing and the new system. You can still install macOS Mojave updates to make sure you have the latest version of this operating system. The video below will guide you on how to do this.
