Can you believe we have had our Dell laptops for over 3 years? I remember the day I picked it up at the old Wainwright Elementary cafeteria. It was brand new, out of the box (with no case) and it felt good. I was so ready to stop using my old HP. It was truly in need of a good burial. The only problem; no CD drive on the new laptop. Even though it was different, I was able to adjust and use other resources to show the educational content that my students needed. Kinda reminds me of the movie, Heartbreak Ridge with Clint Eastwood, in which he tells his men to, "Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome." Believe it or not this has now become the unofficial slogan for the U.S. Marines and probably all teachers as well.
Now, the inevitable has happened. Another new teacher device, but it's not a Windows laptop and it has no touch-screen, 😫! If you speak to any Apple representative they'll tell you they've had a touch-screen computer for quite a while, it's called an iPad angry 😠. Heck, nowadays, those devices do almost as much as a regular laptop, but that is definitely not the answer you were looking for. Let me tell you that it really isn't as bad as it may seem and remember that we are here to help. You probably remember some of the information that was shared with you during the training, but wish you could get a refresh course, or something similar. Have we found the solution to your problem.
